Your service ("ubuntu") has no volume attached, so any data stored inside the container's filesystem would not persist across redeploys. If you deployed from a GitHub repo, your code is still in that repo and can be redeployed after upgrading.

Open invoices are paid from your billing page at railway.com/workspace/billing, not from the emailed invoice PDF. Find the open invoice under Billing History and pay it there. If your card is being declined, replace the payment method on that same page first, then pay the invoice. Once it's paid, any stopped services resume automatically, and you don't have to wait for the next billing cycle.

FIrstly, I paid the subscription on auto debit every month, how can that be an extended period of time, also, i am on hobby plan (paid plan) now, so how do i upgrade to a paid plan if I am already on a paid plan? Show me exactly the steps how do i solve this.
