Hi Railway team,

My workspace has been restricted and I'd like to request it be unrestricted.

What happened: My service was experiencing a crash loop caused by a disk full error. The Pyrogram session file unexpectedly grew to ~424MB on my 434MB persistent volume, which caused the container to restart repeatedly and fail to start.

What I've fixed: I've already resolved the root cause — session files are now stored in /tmp (ephemeral), downloads go to /tmp as well, and only the database (~2MB) remains on the persistent volume. The crash loop will not happen again.

Could you please unrestrict my workspace so the service can resume?

Thank you.

We're not able to share the specific reason a workspace is restricted, and unfortunately the restriction itself can't be reversed on a case-by-case basis. However, since your workspace is on the free/trial tier, upgrading to a paid plan (Hobby or Pro) will automatically lift the restriction. You can do that at railway.com/workspace/plans.

The only way to lift the restriction on a free/trial workspace is to upgrade to a paid plan (Hobby at $5/month or Pro at $20/month), which automatically removes it. You can upgrade at railway.com/workspace/plans.

We understand the frustration with that messaging. For free/trial workspaces, upgrading to a paid plan (Hobby at $5/month or Pro at $20/month) is the only way to lift the restriction, and it happens automatically once you upgrade at railway.com/workspace/plans.

Your thread is reviewed by real people on our team. The answer is the same regardless: the restriction on a free/trial workspace is lifted automatically when you upgrade to a paid plan at railway.com/workspace/plans.
