Hi!

I am using n8n with worker template, consist of primary, worker, redis and postgre.

When my instance go idle, the ram is constantly using 2GB of RAM, mainly is the worker using most of the RAM, causing a big charge.

Any one had experience on this? is this normal? and how can i reduce the RAM usage when in idle?

Hey! I don't think that's related to Railway itself so that question would be better directed in a n8n support server since the usage depends on what are you doing in n8n.

But I do agree that's a lot of resource usage, by "when my instance go idle" do you refer to the serverless option in the service settings?

Yes its the serverless option. it just that i have been using the n8n template from railway. but i dont know where to find out about the setting or source code of this template. Therefore even when i want to ask for n8n support, i dont have enough information to raise the question.

I went to the project UI to have a look at each service's RAM usage. Postgres uses 200MB, Redis nothing, worker 350MB, Primary 250MB. Thats 800MB together on avg. Now why my RAM usage is constantly at about 2GB?????!!

Anyone had that issue before? I have no other instances and services. Any Railway colleagues passing by? please have a look and let me know!
