I currently have some projects deployed on the hobby plan but my expected amount to be owed is above the usual 5$. I dont understand why its not a pay-as-you go plan like AWS or some other alternative rather than 5$ for hobby and 20$ for pro. I would be more than willing to pay for 40$ or 50% for pro max if that means I can have multiple projects hosted but I dont get it 😂. If someone can clarify this I would appreciate it a ton

might have came off a little rude sorry about that but just wanted to know why pricing isnt capped
or if there could be a smaller jump from 20$ a month to 1000$ enterprise out of no where

I'm not exactly sure what you mean by "pay 50$ so I can have multiple projects hosted"

On the hobby plan, you can host as many projects as you want. You just have to pay for the resources you use

Sounds like there may be a misunderstanding around the idea of pay-as-you-go? You pay for the resources you use each month, plus a subscription fee of 5$

I'm not understanding what the issue is here
so its still pay to go? just there is a subscription fee of 5$ that you need to have after the free credits

There is a 5$ subscription fee, then each month you pay for the resources you used the previous month, minus 5$

If your resource usage is under 5$, you just pay 5$. If your resource usage is over 5$, you pay that resource usage

It's effectively just pay as you go with a floor of 5$

Let me know if that's not clear. happy to answer any questions
yeah thats the thing that was confusing me, so the 5$ pays towards the resource usage and if you upgrade to pro it will do the same

Upgrading to pro is different, with the pro plan you pay $20 * seats

But yes, for hobby the 5$ pays towards your resource usage. The $20 for pro does not

Oh sorry my bad

Yeah just 20 * seats
