Please delete the cname record with the name www since your goal if to have the apex domain (e.g. example.com), right?

Then you should add the cname record as requested. For example:

I am unsure if Hostinger actually supports CNAME for apex domains, if they don't switch the name servers to cloudflare's since they do.

-# they don't, Cloudflare is a hard requirement here
a year ago
no, changing to cloudflare's name servers is faster

Please refer to this https://developers.cloudflare.com/dns/zone-setups/full-setup/setup/

You need to have a cloudflare account before you do this, otherwise you won't be able to manage your domain and everything would be pointless.

great
now would my savereelify.com domain get connected to the railway.com ?
if you add the cname to it, yes
obviously using cloudflare this time, instead of hostinger
a year ago
yes

Have you tried the stuff here https://developers.cloudflare.com/dns/manage-dns-records/troubleshooting/records-with-same-name/ ?

You will encounter this error if you try to do one of the following:
Create a CNAME record with a Name matching the name of an existing A/AAAA or CNAME record.
…
Review your existing DNS records to find the matching value in the Name field. Then, decide whether you want to keep the current record or delete it and make a new one.

Is it possible to remove the A record?
try adding the cname again now
this is what we need, you can safely ignore it
a year ago
you can now go back to railway and check the status
a year ago
give it some time
Looks good to me. You can enable the Cloudflare's proxy for the CNAME record.

If nothing happens after a long time, try removing your domain from your railway service and readd it. You may have to update the CNAME's value to the new provided value in this case.

uxuz is correct here, you need to re-do the domain setup, since you did it wrong the first time we stopped attempting to issue an cert long ago

I see that you have just changed the name servers back to Honstinger's again, this step is unnecessary, since we need Cloudflare anyway.
What you want to do is to change the name servers back to Cloudflare and then remove and readd your custom domain from Railway, this time, you should add the CNAME record in time with Cloudflare.
from railway.com?
Yes

And then update the CNAME accordingly
Heh bro it is not working on mobile and when i opened it on incognito it was showing the old hostinger starter template page
a year ago

no solution needed, that's not a workload you should be running on Railway, please find somewhere else to host it
railway.com can't handle it?
i mean it breaks our TOS to run it here
