Needing higher limit of volume in a specific project

Hi Railway team,

Project: https://railway.com/project/9987f3c5-349a-4c7d-9fd8-1a5c8bec2ce7

I recently synchronized my development environment with production, and I’m currently upgrading all PostgreSQL instances from PostgreSQL 17 to PostgreSQL 18, including both regular PostgreSQL and TimescaleDB instances.

During this process, I ran into the current limit of 20 volumes per project. The PostgreSQL templates create new volumes, and the migration requires me to temporarily keep both the old PostgreSQL 17 instances and the new PostgreSQL 18 instances running at the same time while I migrate and validate the data.

For production, the environment is currently fresh, so I can delete and recreate most instances. However, the development environment already contains data and will require this parallel migration approach.

Additionally, the project is expected to grow beyond the current volume limit as the production environment expands. We plan to run additional dedicated PostgreSQL/TimescaleDB instances, more NATS.io JetStream nodes, additional Valkey instances, and other stateful services.

Because of both the temporary migration requirements and the expected long-term infrastructure growth, I’d like to request an increase to the volume limit for this project.

If possible, I’d appreciate having the limit increased enough to accommodate the migration as well as future production capacity.

Thank you!

Your project's per-project volume limit has been raised from 20 to 40, so you can proceed with the PostgreSQL 17-to-18 migration and add the additional volumes you need for future growth.
