Hey, how is non-persistent non-volume disk usage billed and or limited?
F.ex caching ephemeral resources, work data generated from persistent data, etc

It's not billed, but if you exceed your plan's limit we will shut down the container.

That's the problem, the 'your plan's limit' for disk usage isn't shown anywhere afaict.
EDIT: Probably the line "Up to 5 GB storage" on the plan, gotcha, but I'm still on a trial and the trial doesn't show any such limits.

Ephemeral storage limits are documented in our pricing plans table. Trial users have 1 GB of ephemeral storage per service, while Hobby users get 100 GB. The "Up to 5 GB storage" you saw refers to Volume (persistent) storage, which is a separate limit.
