Just discovered Railway and loving it.
Beginner question, is it possible to change the code of the template deployed, for adjusting certain UI elements or maybe anything else?
For example I would like to change the landing page of one of the apps that I have got working and am very happy with and this is not a configuration setting available within the app.

Once you have deployed the template to your service. You can go to the settings of your service and eject the template. This way it creates a copy for you on your GitHub repo and you can change whatever you need to change there. https://docs.railway.com/guides/deploy#eject-from-template-repository

Thanks, but in my implementation I do no see an 'Eject' option as documented, but only a 'Disconnect' option. Are they the same?

If I do disconnect and try to hook it up to a repo in my git hub account.. is there a source of each product available that I can make a private fork for me?

This is how it looks like when you deploy a template. The Upstream repo section is where you see the "Eject button"

Or do you mean templates you are creating? I mean, you as the creator of the template?

I do not see an upstream option in the application templates I am experimenting with like owncloud and nextcloud. I do see that option in the django and laravel starter templates and I am able to get them to work. But for any other product templates like the ones I mentioned I do not see upstream as an option.

Hi, yes you are right. You can't adjust in those types of templates.
