Not able to map root domain to the CNAME

I am not able to map the root domain to the CNAME provided by the railway.com . Do check and let me know what is going wrong!

I am using spaceship.com for managing domain. https://www.spaceship.com/application/dns-presets-manager/

staging.mydomain.com mapped to the railway.com is working fine.

But, when I tried to configure the root domain the same way, it is not working!

Spaceship most likely doesnt support root level CNAMEs which means you might have to use Cloudflare as a nameserver instead which does support root level CNAMEs

So, Should I transfer the domain from spaceship.com to cloudflare.com and then setup CNAME for the root domain ?

Nope, just use Cloudflare's nameservers, you don't need to transfer the domain.
