Cannot use the DNS custom records generated by Railway in Squarespace, my DNS service provider. Responding to the message sent to me: codecollabproj.com has a DNS record may be pointing directly at Railway's legacy origin IPs instead of the DNS target assigned in your service settings. On Friday, August 14, 2026, Railway will restrict direct origin access and traffic to this domain will no longer be served. To avoid downtime, update each domain's DNS record to the target shown under Service → Settings → Networking → Public Networking. If you are using Cloudflare, we recommend disabling the proxy. (Orange -> Gray cloud). Read the custom domains guide

Squarespace DNS does not support CNAME flattening or ALIAS records at the root/apex level, so you cannot point codecollabproj.com directly at the required Railway target (vohmohsn.up.railway.app) from there. You also need a TXT record at _railway-verify.codecollabproj.com for domain verification, which is currently missing. The recommended fix is to move your domain's nameservers to Cloudflare (free plan works), which supports CNAME flattening at the apex, then add both the CNAME pointing to vohmohsn.up.railway.app and the TXT verification record shown in your service's networking settings. The root domain guide walks through the Cloudflare setup. Alternatively, you can use a subdomain like www.codecollabproj.com instead, which works with any DNS provider since subdomains accept standard CNAME records.
