we have a custom domain that we previously used with railway, that we are now attempting to re-use on a new service. however, when trying to bind the domain to the service, the UI shows "not available". additionally, running railway domain [dev.bracket.game](dev.bracket.game) also claims the domain is not available.
is it possible the domain is locked due to an old, deleted service? can we have this released?

Yes, it's possible an old deleted service is holding the domain, you can check for deleted projects in the dashboard and remove the domain there

Alright, then I'm at a loss for what could be going on here because upon DNS lookup I also notice that it has no DNS configured either
I'm wondering if it's possible for someone to grab a domain without setting it up, locking others from using it <:Thinking:1360710341239242762>

That domain belongs to a different Railway account. You would want to log in to that Railway account and remove it.
