Ownership Confusion

I tried to transfer a project to my coworker because I'm leaving the firm. System told me I can't because there's a bucket. Weird enough. Deleted the bucket. Was told I'd have to weight 52 hours until actually deleted. Found out I could make that coworker a member of my whole workspace rather than just the project, did so, as admin. Now the button to transfer ownership is gone because they don't show up in the members section of the project... pretty confusing worflow... can you advice?

Since you're leaving the firm, the simplest path is a workspace handover rather than a per-project transfer. You've already done most of the work: your coworker is a workspace Admin. The last step is for your coworker to log in and remove you from the workspace via the People page. Once they do, the handover is complete, and every project, service, volume, domain, and variable stays exactly where it is.

One important detail: the payment method on file stays with the workspace. Your coworker will need to go to the workspace billing settings and replace it with their own card, otherwise yours continues to be charged.

As for the project-level transfer button disappearing: Transfer Ownership requires the recipient to be a project member (added via Project Settings > Members), not a workspace member. Workspace membership and project membership are separate grants, which is why your coworker doesn't appear there. But given you're leaving entirely, the workspace handover above is the better route and skips the bucket-deletion wait entirely.
