Persistent volumes stuck in Deploying (MySQL & MongoDB) – Services unavailable
Anonymous

Both my MySQL and MongoDB services became stuck in "Deploying" after a clean shutdown. Restart and redeploy did not generate any logs initially, and the services were not accessible.

The MySQL logs previously showed a clean shutdown (Received SHUTDOWN from user <via user signal>) with no corruption errors. After some time, the service eventually mounted the volume and started normally.

This appears to be an infrastructure or persistent volume mounting issue rather than an application-level problem.

Project is on the Hobby plan. No backups are available, so deleting the services is not an option.

Could you please investigate whether the underlying node or volume attachment process caused the issue?

Hey there!
It looks like this was a part of a recent incident we have. Can I get a link to both of those services having issues?

Post mortem is here in case you're interested in reading it.
