Issue: A phantom/orphaned volume ID (04c5242f-8eac-4cfb-a3f6-feec2375b961)
keeps appearing in "changes to apply" even after discarding and deleting
volumes, blocking me from attaching a fresh volume. Can you clear this
stale reference on the backend?

The stale volume reference is cleared now. A deleted volume left behind an orphaned attachment on d3-kitchen-bar, which is why every new volume you staged got blocked. That leftover record has been removed on our side, so you can attach a fresh volume and apply the change normally. If it still shows the old ID, a hard refresh should clear it.
