Our web service cannot open any outbound SMTP connection.
From inside the live replica of the web service, connections to smtp.hostinger.com (172.65.255.143) time out on ports 465, 587 and 2525. The connection never completes — it fails before authentication. Running the same test with railway run, which egresses from a different address, all three ports connect normally.
Our workspace is on the Hobby plan with a payment method on file. The replica egresses from 152.55.180.243, one of our static outbound IPs (162.220.234.240, 152.55.180.240, 152.55.180.243).
Could you please:
Confirm whether outbound SMTP is blocked for our workspace, and unblock it.
Tell us whether the static-IP egress path is what blocks it, and whether upgrading to Pro would change that.
We use the static IPs for a separate service that allowlists them, so disabling them is not an option.
We send authenticated SMTP through our own domain's mail provider, for transactional email only (login codes and account notices).
Thanks.

Outbound SMTP (ports 25, 465, 587, 2525) is disabled on Hobby plans to prevent abuse and is only available on Pro and above. Upgrading to Pro and redeploying the service that needs SMTP will unblock those ports. If you need to stay on Hobby, transactional email services with HTTPS APIs (such as Resend, SendGrid, Mailgun, or Postmark) work on all plans as an alternative.
