I’m thinking of getting a VPS from you and wanted to clarify a requirement before placing the order.
I plan to use the VPS for an internal email verification system. It performs DNS/MX lookups and limited SMTP handshake checks only. No marketing or transactional emails are sent, and no email content is delivered to recipients. The usage is strictly for internal purposes.
Email lists used for verification are internally sourced, and nothing is sold or distributed. Since no emails are sent, there are no bounces or complaints in the traditional sense—undeliverable addresses are simply detected during verification.
To support this workload, I would need outbound access on port 25. Can you confirm whether port 25 can be unblocked for this use case? If so, I’ll proceed with purchasing the VPS.

Railway is a PaaS (Platform as a Service), not a VPS provider - your services run in containers rather than dedicated virtual machines. That said, outbound port 25 is available on the Pro plan. You're currently on Hobby, so you'd need to upgrade to Pro for your email verification use case. After upgrading, redeploy your service for SMTP access to take effect.
