No idea if Railway is at fault here but we were getting weird connection issues to external APIs and doing a redeploy fixed it.

The external API question was working normally and we were able to do curl requests outside Railway
you're not crazy, looks like an actual railway issue. seems to be working now

will blame it on cosmic rays then, anyway we added one more replica to be safe
