Is it possible to restore database backups from Railway? I didn't have backups set up for my PostgreSQL database. Railway makes backups somehow, and can they be restored?

We can not restore user deleted data, unless you have taken a backup yourself the data is unfortunately gone, sorry.

How does one create a backup of PostgreSQL within Railway?

For Pro users, you enable the backup option in the service settings and then you will have access to the backup's tab where you can take a backup.
For Hobby users, you use our backup template for Postgres - https://railway.app/template/I4zGrH
