PostgreSQL stuck in recovery after volume reached 100%

Hi,

My Railway PostgreSQL service is stuck in recovery after the volume reached 100% usage.

Service:

pacific-smile / Postgres / production

Logs repeatedly show:

FATAL: the database system is not yet accepting connections

DETAIL: Consistent recovery state has not been yet reached.

The app service has already been switched to maintenance mode and no longer connects to the database, but Postgres still cannot complete recovery.

I cannot resize the volume because my current plan has a 5000 MB max volume limit.

Is there any way to temporarily expand the volume or recover enough space so PostgreSQL can start accepting connections? I need to run a backup and then truncate non-critical log data.

Please do not delete, reset, or recreate the database. I need to preserve users, wallet addresses, total points, and leaderboard data.

Public DB proxy:

thomas.proxy.rlwy.net:12512

Current volume:

5 GB
