Everything was working fine until today evening during the control plane issue https://status.railway.com/cmfv2ciuy00krz1jvwfghr4gz, since then, all new deployments/redeployments of the previously working code are crashing because of being unable to connect to the database.

i checked my variables and saw that some of then was empty, but i didnt edit anything

Jumping in here from another thread. I was able to get everything working again by re-enabling private networking.
