may i ask why, vs connecting to the database with the private network

To be honest, I tried once a while ago and couldn't connect, so I never tried again after that.

it would save you from the egress fees and after you apply some common work around the private network wont give you any issues

id be happy to help you switch over to the private network because that will unblock you, and to help the team debug this, where are your services deployed to, region wise?

I'm using the US-West region. I just switched to the private network to see if the errors stop. In the meantime, thanks so much for your help!
