postgres db - otherwise working - does not connect in railway UI

I've got an internal-network-only postgresdb that my other services are using without issues. However, from the dashboard I am not able to use the "Database" tab to view tables. When I click on that tab, it shows green checkmarks on "deployment online" and "required variables", and an endlessly spinning icon next to "database connection".

Does this feature work for internal-network-only db's?

Currently, it only works for external exposed DBs. However, we have someone internally who has got this working over our private network to the UI

Stay tuned for updates in the changelog on that over the next 1-2 weeks. But yes, for now, you'd have to expose it with the "TCP proxy" action

Thanks for the speedy response, and I'm pleased there are improvements coming soon in this area! The endlessly spinning icon led me to think there was potentially a problem with the instance.
