Here's what happened:

Timeline:

  • I accidentally deleted a postgres-volume (not the one currently mounted)
  • Deletion happened around 2026-05-05 19:47 UTC
  • The volume deleted is now permanently removed from environment

Current state:

  • Postgres service still has a volume mounted postgres-volume-iSSi, 5GB, not the one I need

Issues:

  • I accidentally deleted a postgres-volume a few minutes ago
  • I want to know if they have a snapshot or backup of it
  • Environment: production
  • Deletion time: ~19:47 UTC on 2026-05-05

When a volume is deleted, it is queued for permanent deletion but can be restored within 48 hours using a restoration link that was sent to your account email at the time of deletion. Check your email (including spam) for that restoration link. If 48 hours have not yet passed since the deletion at ~19:47 UTC on 2025-05-05, you can still recover it. More details are in our volume deletion and restoration docs.
