unable to connect to postgres db using the internal network. can look into this please. it shows error - connection to server at "postgres.railway.internal" port 5432 failed: Connection timed out

Yeah I'm having the same or similar issue. The Postgres DB interface in the Database tab has been stuck on "Attempting to connect to the database..." all day.

Had to restart my service but it did fix itself

So sorry you encountered this problem. We did have an incident that caused problems for some users (https://status.railway.com/cmli5y9xt056zsdts5ngslbmp). As some of you have noted, the restart should fix it. Please let us know if you are still having connection problems and if so let us know if it impacting both public and private network connections.
