App services intermittently lose connectivity to Railway Postgres.
App errors:
- Can't reach database server at postgres.railway.internal:5432
Postgres logs at the same time:
- SSL error: decryption failed or bad record mac
- could not receive data from client: Connection reset by peer
- could not accept SSL connection: EOF detected
- unexpected EOF on client connection with an open transaction
Main window:
- 2026-02-11 08:40–09:10 UTC
We do NOT see:
- Postgres restart/shutdown/startup messages
- too many clients already
Please urgently check internal networking/TLS path between app containers and Postgres for our environment.
Any networking issues today?
My app service was in Asia and Postgres in Amsterdam. (It was so for many weeks with no problems)

Hello,
We had an incident earlier that caused some running workloads to be unexpectedly terminated while the status in the UI didn't properly update. This has since been resolved, but in some cases, you may need to redeploy your services.

I have re start re deploy re boot re deploy re everything the problem persist, I have move to another service more reliable and steady the fact of having manager expecting to launch a certain project and all of a suden "servers are down" and then is fixed but is indeed not true. What a disappoint Railway. More than a year without issues and now this. Bye ! I have migrate all my projects somewhere else.
