PostgreSQL volume full - need help exporting data

My PostgreSQL database is completely out of disk space (0.5 GB Hobby plan limit reached) and keeps crashing with "No space left on device" error.

I need to export my data to my PC but can't because:

  • Volume is full so it crashes almost instantly
  • Because it crashes, I can't use console to "pg_dump"

Can you somehow help me with either:

  1. Exporting my files

  2. Temporarily increase volume size to let the database start so I can export?

I understand that upgrading would solve the issue, but unfortunately, I can’t afford to upgrade right now.

You can try override the start command to sleep infinity so the deployment will be active without running the actual postgres command and you should be able to access to Console tab
