Postgress Database Really Slow

I have a django app and Postgress DB all hosted here on railway. The database is really slow, takes very long to get a response. please help.

Are you sure the database and the Django service are in the same region, and that you are connecting to the database via the private network?

Yes. They are all in the same region. US Oregon. I think i set it to private network, but am not sure if i've done it right
