Hi Railway team,
I wanted to responsibly report what may be a billing or volume reporting issue affecting one of my Postgres service volumes.
From 1 April, the Postgres volume appears to stop being reflected in billing/reporting, even though the database is still online and the data is still fully present. I noticed that my other volumes like Redis continues to report normally, so this seems isolated to one volume attached to Postgres rather than being a project-wide issue.
I’m raising this because I want to make sure you’re aware in case the platform is under-reporting billable Postgres volume usage across more than just my workspace.
What I’m observing:
- Postgres service is online
- Database contents are still intact and accessible
- Postgres volume storage reporting appears to drop off to 0 from 1 April
- Other volumes are fine
I’m not sure whether this is purely a UI/metrics issue or something that could also affect billing, but it seemed important to report. It's not included in my usage panel either.

- First one shows no data seen in the canvas for the volume
- Second one shows reporting stops on April 1st (If I click on anything less than 30 days it's empty)
- 3rd one shows the total project drop off on the same date
This project is small fry as it's pre-prod - but just concerned this might be happening across the platform 🙂
