Hi Railway team,
I'm on the Pro Workspace plan and my site (clienthub.optavo.io) is returning the following error for all visitors:
▎ {"message":"Your project has exceeded the data transfer quota. Upgrade your
plan to increase limits."}
I've checked my usage across every project in my workspace and the total spend
is approximately £7 this billing cycle. The affected project (dependable-spontaneity, production environment) shows only 4.82GB of egress
and $1.33 in current costs.
My billing is up to date — recent payments of $17.04 (May) and $20.00 (April)
both went through successfully on the card ending in 0098.
Could you please investigate why the quota error is being triggered? It
doesn't appear to reflect my actual usage.
Thanks,
Fred Telfer

Subject: False “Data Transfer Quota Exceeded” Lockout on Pro Workspace
Hi Railway Support Team,
My Pro Workspace is incorrectly showing the following error to all visitors on my production deployment:
“Your project has exceeded the data transfer quota. Upgrade your plan to increase limits.”
This appears to be a false-positive quota lockout.
Here are the details:
- Workspace: Pro Workspace
- Project: dependable-spontaneity (production)
- Actual egress: 4.82GB
- Actual spend this cycle: ~£7
- Billing status: Up to date
- Recent payments: $17.04 (May) and $20.00 (April) — both successful
Given the low usage and successful billing, this looks like a known issue where the workspace quota state becomes stuck or miscalculated.
Could you please reset the workspace quota state and re-sync the billing status on your end?
This should clear the incorrect quota flag and restore normal access.
Thank you!

This looks like a stuck quota flag rather than you actually hitting a limit. 4.82GB egress on a Pro Workspace is nowhere near anything that should block you, and your billing is current, so the numbers don't add up to a real overage.
A few things:
Double check the usage page to confirm the egress number is actually 4.82GB and not some runaway spike from a loop or a bot hammering clienthub.optavo.io. If it's genuinely that low, this is a billing/quota sync bug on Railway's side.
Try a redeploy first, sometimes that nudges the quota state to recalculate.
If it's still blocked, this one needs Railway support directly. Ask them to reset the workspace quota state and resync your billing status, since the flag looks miscalculated. Include your project name (dependable-spontaneity) and the egress number so they can see it doesn't match the block.
Not really something you can fix from your side beyond confirming the usage is actually low.
