Production PostgreSQL data loss, need recovery assistance

We had 200+ production users. The database appears to have been wiped

(sequence reset to 1, all migrations now in batch 1). We do not have

volume backups configured.

The data loss occurred around April 27, 2026 UTC.

Questions:

  1. Is WAL-based point-in-time recovery possible on our plan even without backups configured?
  2. Does Railway retain any infrastructure-level snapshots we can request?
  3. If recovery is possible, what is the process and time window?

This is a production emergency with real user financial data affected.

Please advise ASAP.

Unfortunately, we do not offer WAL-based point-in-time recovery or infrastructure-level snapshots. The only data recovery mechanism is the Backups feature, which must be configured proactively, either manually or on a schedule. Since no backups were configured for your volume, there is no recovery path available on our end.
