Hello Railway Support,

My production Postgres database has been stuck in "Attempting to connect to the database..." state since February 11, 2026 at approximately 19:00 (UTC+5).

PROJECT DETAILS:

- Project: dentafull

- Environment: production

- Database Service: Postgres (empathetic-unity)

- Affected Service: acceptable-emotion (backend)

ISSUE:

The database dashboard shows it's perpetually trying to connect but never succeeds. All database queries from my backend fail with:

Error: Can't reach database server at switchyard.proxy.rlwy.net:56686

WHAT'S WORKING:

Backend service deploys successfully

Authentication works (no database needed)

DATABASE_URL environment variable is set correctly

WHAT'S NOT WORKING:

All Prisma database queries timeout

Database connection stuck in "Attempting to connect" state

Postgres proxy (switchyard.proxy.rlwy.net:56686) is unreachable

IMPACT:

This is a production application with active users. I CANNOT lose the existing database data - it contains critical customer information.

REQUEST:

Please investigate the database proxy connectivity issue and restore access while preserving all existing data.

Thank you for your urgent help!

Hey there!

It looks like this was a part of a recent incident we have. I just checked and it should be good to go now. Can you give it a look and let me know what you're seeing?

Post mortem is here in case you're interested in reading it.
