Hello,
I was wondering if it is possible to create a service through the api on a private github repo. We have an auto deploy feature, but the repo we are building from in private.

You can definitely use the GraphQL API to create a Service. You can also just click on your Service -> Setting tab -> GitHub integration to build from private repos (which is probably a more handy way to do this, in this case) as long as you've installed the GitHub app in your Organization.
