We made a major effort migrating 20+ railway services to metal, which took a couple hours because we had to switch over the static IP whitelists and ensure no downtime.

there were a couple quirks we had to deal with along the way. namely, if you have static outbound IP, you have to disable that, change region, deploy, abort deploy, re enable static outbound IP, deploy again. Probably could have been an easier way to do that, and assuming there will be when this goes out to everyone/is required.

We've been active on metal for a few weeks but would really appreciate if we could be bumped over the usage limit required for the discount. We're a scrappy student startup, so would help us out a lot, as we took on the small risk to be early adopters and opt in early
