Query Regarding Trial Period and Server Continuity After Credit Deposit

Dear Support Team,

I recently registered on your platform and received a $5 credit as a new user. I understand that the current plan includes:

  • $1.00 monthly usage grant

  • 512 MB RAM

  • 1 vCPU

  • 1 GB Disk space

I have a few questions regarding the trial and credit usage:

  1. Will the trial period end immediately upon exhausting the $5 credit, or will it last for a full month regardless of usage?

  2. Once the trial ends, will my server be automatically removed, or will only the credit be deducted?

  3. If I manually deposit $10 into my account before the trial ends, and I do not wish to switch to a Hobby plan, but want to continue with the same configuration, will my current server remain active without being destroyed?

Please clarify if depositing funds in advance can ensure uninterrupted service, even after the trial period expires.

  • 500 MB Disk space

1. Your Trial plan lasts until the $5 is depleted or 30 days have passed since signing up, whichever comes first.
2. Your deployments will be shut down, and they will then be ready to be redeployed after the upgrade.

  1. You cannot deposit money into an account on any plan. Railway is a monthly subscription service; we do not support pre-paying or loading credits.
