The question is about Railway's policy regarding the deployment of ChatBots, whether they are allowed, not allowed, or under what conditions.

it depends, we would need more information from you to give a definitive answer
I remember reading somewhere, either in the documentation or the policies, regarding the projects that were being developed. I recall they made a mention of chatbots, but I don't remember the exact terms, and I want to read them to see if my development is correct or if I need to take it down.
It's a Discord bot that stays online permanently, and I wanted to know if they are allowed or not, or specifically, what the policy is regarding that.

discord bots themselves are fine, but it also depends on what the bot does, so care to share so I can give you a up-to-date answer
Alright, how should I share it with you? I don't have an updated version on GitHub, and the version I have on Railway is uploaded through Docker. Should I send you the Railway project?

no no just tell me what it does lol
Ah! okay, haha. It's a bot I developed for my brother. What it does is, based on a user command, it starts modifying a .json file, which it then uploads to a GitHub repository, meaning it makes a commit using git. But for that, it downloads the repository, modifies it, makes the commit, pushes it, deletes the repository, and waits for something to be added again. It's not for daily use, so to speak; it receives very little traffic.
If it does that 3 times in a week, we're talking about a very busy week, just to give you an idea of the usage it would get

no issues with that on Railway
Oh, that's fine. I was asking mainly because it's not consuming my credit points, I have a free account. Is that normal?

could just be using very little resources, you're fine
Okay, thank you so much for clearing up the doubt. I just didn't want to "push my luck" seeing there’s no movement with the usage.
