We are facing a Railway build failure during the initialization/build image stage.
The deployment was working successfully earlier with the same repository and configuration, but started failing without any code changes.
The build fails before application build begins, during Railpack setup, with the following error:
"Failed to ensure mise is installed: failed to download and install: failed to extract archive: gzip: invalid header"
This indicates a corrupted or invalid archive while Railway attempts to install mise (used for runtime setup).
Actions already attempted:
- Redeploying the service
- Restarting the service
- Clearing build cache
The issue appears to be infrastructure-related rather than application-related, as the failure occurs before Node or application dependencies are installed.
Region shown in logs: asia-southeast1
Railpack version: 0.15.3
Requesting assistance to reset/repair the build environment or advise further steps to resolve the mise installation failure.
