Yesterday I received two emails from GitHub to two different accounts that are both linked to two different Railway accounts saying that Railway is requesting additional permissions.
I was not doing anything with Railway at the time, and both requests are "read-only access to members" of the related GitHub organizations.
I can't find any blog posts or other information about why Railway needs this permission, or why this has suddenly appeared. What's going on? Is this for an upcoming feature? Why was it prompted without me doing anything?

Railway was having some problems with GitHub rate-limiting operations (as you can see in #🚨｜incidents ), some changes to permissions and how tokens are used have taken place, and that probably triggered this permission update for the GitHub app.
