I use Railway's GitHub app to automatically deploy pull requests in their own environment. As part of this fully automated workflow, Railway used to add a comment to the pull request with a link to the deployment in the dashboard and a link to the deployment.
This stopped working recently. Now, when I first create a pull request. GitHub still triggers a Railway deployment to a PR-specific environment, but Railway would not add a comment. Only when pushing an additional commit to that pull request, the Railway comment would appear.
Example:
- Project ID: 63259315-d6a8-4595-8612-54e13c6674b1
- Environment ID: 626dccc3-6868-4f95-a373-11df2f4087c1
- Repo: maiertech/sveltekit-helpers (private)
- Example PR: #920
(environment might be deleted by the time you read this)

Hey! Thanks for opening this thread with us. I'm looking into this now but wanted to collect some more info.
Recently there have been delays with GitHub's API that result in these comments showing up on PRs a bit later than expected. Is the issue that these PR env comments only show up on a second commit after the PR is opened or are they just delayed a bit after the PR is opened?
Either way, I am digging in now to see if I can sort the root cause here.

I tried a second commit, but the message does not show. All deployment notifications are there.

PR environment comments not appearing on initial PR creation (only showing after a subsequent commit) is a known regression we're tracking. There's no workaround or setting on your side that controls this behavior. We appreciate the detailed reproduction info.

Hey all! We fixed the underlying bug here and latency on these comment should be around 1-2 seconds now!
