I recently purchased a domain through Railway and connected it to my app. I assumed it would include standard DNS management like most registrars.
After checking the docs, I realized Railway doesn’t currently support adding custom DNS records. Unfortunately, this blocks my project because I need to configure an email service that requires MX and TXT records.
If this limitation had been clearer before purchase, I likely would have chosen another provider.
Would it be possible to either:
• Transfer the domain to another provider that supports full DNS management, or
• Cancel the purchase, release the domain so I can register it elsewhere, and issue a refund?
This is currently blocking my project, so I’d really appreciate any help or guidance on the best way to resolve it.
