Railway GitHub App connected but repository not showing

Hello Railway Team,

I am having a problem connecting my private GitHub repository to Railway.

GitHub account:

rokbrbso7-eng

Repository:

sorb603-code/sorb603-code-2

The Railway GitHub App is installed on my GitHub account and I configured Repository Access to the repository. GitHub shows that the Railway App has access to the repository.

However, when I go to Railway and try to create a new project from GitHub, Railway keeps showing:

"Install the Railway GitHub App"

It says that my GitHub account is connected, but it does not show my repository. When I click "Refresh to sync your repos", the page refreshes and returns to the same "Install the Railway GitHub App" screen.

I have already:

  • Connected GitHub to my Railway account.
  • Installed the Railway GitHub App.
  • Granted the Railway App access to my repository.
  • Uninstalled and reinstalled the Railway GitHub App.
  • Reconfigured the repository access.
  • Refreshed the Railway GitHub repository list multiple times.

The repository exists and is accessible from my GitHub account.

It appears that Railway is not correctly syncing or recognizing the GitHub App installation.

Could you please check the GitHub integration/installation on the Railway side and help me resolve this issue?

Thank you.

The repository you're trying to connect (sorb603-code/sorb603-code-2) is owned by the GitHub account sorb603-code, but your Railway account is linked to a different GitHub account (rokbrbso7-eng). The Railway GitHub App must be installed on the account or organization that owns the repository. If sorb603-code is a GitHub organization, install the Railway GitHub App on that organization and grant it access to the repository. Then go to your Railway account settings and unlink and relink the GitHub integration to force a sync.
