Honestly at this point the amount of issues/downtime is embarrassing. Trust for me is completely gone in Railway as a hosting/infra platform. Absolutely no chance i'll be hosting anything serious here, and will be moving my production project somewhere else

To be fair, the service is usually outstanding but there have been frequent glitches. I would appreciate a clear status update from the team.

The product is great but the outages are bordering on ridiculous, they need to get it together as many (including myself) cant trust it to host prod

Seen from our perspective, this may seem trivial but running such a product must be a constant headache. At that scale, you're probably attacked from all directions, not mentioning rogue users publishing scams.

Agree, i'm not saying it's easy. Other platforms manage better though. Railway might have the best features etc. But fundamentally a hosting and infra service lives and dies on its uptime and stability.

Anyone from the Railway team reading this thread who could share with us a high-level explanation re: the recent infra challenges faced by Railway?

tbh it is happing way to often lately to the point where I don't find it very reliable anymore, and starting to regret migrating here.

From a statistical point of view, it seems that uptime is still very high compared to other services but when it happens, it's annoying, for sure. The worst day for me was Feb 11, probably 3 hours of downtime but good support from the team on that day.

Do we get an update on this?

Looked like you had a full scale platform downtime for about 10 minute.

All our services went down.

Your own platform and website was down.

Two hours and no acknowledgment of this is pretty long time i will say.

Their status page is NOT accurate

I run production apps on competitors, and cannot remember the last time i had downtime

I have hobby apps on here and don't even monitor them often and have seen 2 or 3 chunks of outages in the last month or 2

same here. getting 502 and 525 errors for a lot of today

stunning that this was not on https://status.railway.com/; we had fullscale downtime of 57 minutes of prod apps and zero ack is a severe f up. problem is that the 'problem' railway solves magically becomes easier to manage with an aws mcp server, as i have been forced to re-discover tonight.

Our websites are getting 500 internal status errors in specific regions. This is frustrating as it happened twice for us already. There seems to be some sort of networking issues with railway
