First of all I created my account using Google not Github.
I deployed some services using a template. Now I want to customise one service and wanted to plug it to a custom Github repo instead of using the official image.
I go to the service > settings > source > click disconnect > click connect repo.
I go through the connection configuration to install the Railway app on Github and allow Railway to see all my repositories. Then when going back on Railway and clicking to "connect repo" again, it can find no repo at all.
Because of this I cannot customise my service (wanted to install extra packages) and end up being blocked with what I wanted to do.

Hey Thibaut,
Your account says it is not connected to github at all. Can you remove the github app from your github account and try to reconnect it again?

Hi echohack,
I tried uninstalling the app and reconnecting it again but it hasn't worked.
Steps I tried exactly:
- Go to Github, Settings, Applications
- Uninstall Railway App + Revoke access
- Go back to Railway, open my service, Settings, click on "disconnect", click on "connect repo"
- Authorize the installation of Railway app on Github and to see all repos
- Go back to Railway, open service, Settings, click "connect repo" --> can't see any repos
Then tried to log out and back in from Railway and to connect the repo again but still not seeing anything. (Note that I do have repos on my Github account, it's not empty. So I should be able to see them in Railway).
I've made a screen recording of this process: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1UlfU9y60thYcF1y9-UelK0Cjrp2CmsUg/view?usp=drive_link
Thanks!

Hi,
I finally managed to fix it by doing the following steps:
> Log out
> Log in using Github. This created a new account and I saw the onboarding info (like telling me what I shouldn't deploy on Railway like illegal content)
> Go to Account Settings, disconnect Github
> Delete Railway account
> Log back in with Google on my "real" account
> Go to Account Settings, click on "connect" for Github --> worked
And now I can see my Github repos to connect my service too.
Thanks
