Railway not detecting that my container image on GHCR is private and not asking for credentials.

I am deploying my project using an image stored on a ghcr private registry.

Railway errors our and says the error in the screenshot but never asks for credentials

At this very moment, that service is set to deploy from a repo.

This was previously being deployed from a repo. I moved my builder into github actions and tried to point to the image i built

Went through this doc. https://docs.railway.com/builds/private-registries#github-container-registry-ghcr

I never got prompted for the credentials.


Private registeries is only available on Pro and Enterprise plan

Oh 🥀 . I thought private registries meant non standard registries other than the ones listed on the doc.
