Receiving inbound emails via Railway

I want to know if this is possible.

I am on the Pro plan and read that SMTP servers are supported, but not recommended to use for transactional outbound email. We use a transactional email service, but I want to have my Node app on Railway receive inbound emails and parse them. Is that something that can be done with Railway? I just want to confirm this before I attempt to build it.

Thank you.

Thanks for the response. Are you certain? I had read the PORT 25 had been opened for Pro users.

Can this not be used for inbound email processing?

I am quite sure yes. Unless something has changed last I heard inbound SMTP is forbidden.

I see. Is there anything you recommend for inbound email parsing? I heard that Sendgrid has an API that webhooks responses back. Any other ideas?

I don't have any personal recommendations. I'd highly suggest doing some investigation based on your use case.
