Hello,

We urgently need help recovering the original volume associated with a PR environment that was automatically deleted when GitHub PR #8 was closed.

We did not receive a volume restoration email, and the deleted environment/volume does not appear in the project Activity feed with a Restore or undo option.

Project details:

  • Project: Trips-OS
  • Project ID: 88f5aa66-1df7-46c8-8c86-1a95d4c511b3
  • GitHub repository: RodriLaziale1616/trips-os
  • Deleted environment: trips-os-pr-8
  • Environment ID: bdd23aff-e97c-4d8e-9695-665920dd8f0b
  • API service ID: 4b0ededd-f497-4f16-9ee2-d974bdfefd7f
  • Volume name: trips-os-volume
  • Volume ID shown in the project: 426f9e69-a9a2-458e-8bc4-387e675d8b63
  • Approximate deletion time: September 3, 2026, around 02:49 UTC

The volume contained important operational JSON data from our pilot agency, including users, advisors, customer profiles, opportunities, quotes, and proposals.

Please:

  1. Confirm whether the volume instance associated with the deleted PR8 environment is still retained or soft-deleted.
  2. Confirm the exact expiration time of the recovery window.
  3. Provide the restoration link or restore the original volume instance.
  4. Restore it into a separate isolated environment or service so we can inspect and export the data safely.

Please do not overwrite or modify our current production environment or the trips-os-pr-14 environment. Please also do not create an empty replacement volume; we need the original volume contents.

If the PR environment cleanup bypassed the normal 48-hour volume recovery process, please confirm whether the underlying volume instance or any platform snapshot is still recoverable.

Thank you. This is time-sensitive because the volume contains pilot operational data that must be migrated to PostgreSQL.

When a PR environment is deleted (by closing the PR that created it), the environment and its volumes are removed immediately with no grace period. The 48-hour restore window applies only to project deletions made from the dashboard, not to environment or service deletions. Your project itself is intact, and the volumes in your production and trips-os-pr-14 environments are unaffected, but the volume instance that belonged to the PR-8 environment is no longer available for recovery. It is also worth noting that PR environment volumes start empty, they do not receive a copy of the source environment's data, so only data written during that PR environment's lifetime would have been on that volume.
