Hi, I signed up using someone's referral link using Google; however, I only received the $5 trial credit. Is the $20 credit applied after subscribing to a plan? Or should I have received a $20 credit and not $5?

Referral credits are earned only if the user pays their first bill.

So yes, the user must subscribe to a paid plan.
