Request for Database/Volume Restoration – June 7, 2026

Hello Railway Support,

I would like to request a restoration of my project's MySQL data from a previous state.

Project ID:

6e3c0c20-c70e-4756-9c23-ff8849ed6999

Background:

I was attempting to reconnect an existing WordPress installation to its MySQL database. During troubleshooting and recovery attempts, the environment became misconfigured and WordPress can no longer connect properly to the original database.

The original data appears to still exist on the volume, but the database authentication and service configuration are no longer functioning correctly.

I would like to restore the MySQL service and its associated volume to the state it was in on June 7, 2026, before the recovery attempts were made.

If a full project restoration is not recommended, restoring only the affected MySQL volume/service would also be acceptable.

Please let me know:

Whether a restoration from June 7, 2026 is available.

The safest restoration option.

Any actions I should avoid while the restoration request is being processed.

Priority: High

Thank you for your assistance.

  • Additional information:

The original WordPress data still appears to exist inside the MySQL volume. During recovery attempts, the MySQL authentication and WordPress connectivity became misconfigured.

Multiple WordPress tables were previously detected, including:

    • wp_users
  • wp_posts

  • wp_options

  • wp_postmeta

  • wp_usermeta

My main goal is to restore the project to a working state prior to the recovery attempts, preserving the original WordPress installation and database contents if possible.

I have intentionally stopped making further changes to avoid additional modifications while awaiting guidance from support.

If you have backups enabled for your MySQL database, you can select a backup that's prior to your recovery attempts.
