Request for DNS Record Access or Manual DNS Configuration for mdpi.academy

Hello Railway Support Team,

I recently registered the domain mdpi.academy directly through Railway and connected it to my project.

I am currently building a web platform where users will log in and submit materials, and the system needs to send transactional emails such as account verification, login notifications, and submission confirmations.

To configure this with an email provider (for example SendGrid, Resend, or similar services), I need to add several DNS records for the domain, specifically MX, SPF, DKIM, and TXT records for email authentication.

At the moment, I cannot find any DNS management interface for Railway-registered domains in the dashboard.

Could you please advise if it would be possible to:

• Enable DNS record management for the domain mdpi.academy, or

• Manually add the required DNS records if I provide the exact values from the email service provider.

Having access to configure these records would allow me to properly authenticate the domain and send transactional emails from addresses such as editor@mdpi.academy.

Thank you very much for your time and assistance. I appreciate any guidance you can provide.

Best regards,

Matt

DNS for domains purchased through us is fully managed, and we do not support adding custom records like MX, SPF, DKIM, or TXT. Transfers require the domain to have been registered for at least 60 days, so transferring out is not yet an option for you. However, we can issue a refund for the domain purchase if requested within 4 days of registration. You would then register mdpi.academy through an external registrar where you have full DNS control, and connect it to your services as a custom domain. Let us know if you'd like to proceed with the refund.
