Hello Railway Support Team,
My Railway workspace has been restricted due to detected unusual activity. The dashboard displays a message stating that I must upgrade to a paid plan before I can create new resources or deploy services.
I am working on a student project called CodeArena, for which I am trying to deploy a MySQL database using Railway.
I have already created the MySQL service, but its deployment is blocked by this workspace restriction. I would like to understand what triggered this restriction.
Could you please review my workspace and let me know:
- What caused the unusual activity restriction?
- Is it possible to verify my account and restore deployment access without upgrading to a paid plan?
- If an upgrade is mandatory, what plan and charges would be required?
I am using Railway for an educational project and would appreciate your guidance.
Thank you for your time and support.

We can't share the specifics of what triggered the restriction on your workspace, and it isn't something that can be lifted through account verification or a review on our side.
The way to restore deployments is to upgrade the workspace to a paid plan at railway.com/workspace/plans, which lifts the restriction automatically. Adding a payment method on its own will not lift it.
The Hobby plan is $5/month with $5 of included usage each cycle and no time limit, and any unused trial credit carries over when you upgrade during an active trial.
