Hello,
My free trial on Railway has expired and my MySQL service is now offline (project: wholesome-balance, production).
I would like to reactivate my account to export my data (users and other tables), but I don't have access to a traditional credit card — only prepaid cards, which are rejected by your billing system for usage-based subscriptions.
Could you help me with either:
Getting temporary read-only access to my MySQL database to perform an export (mysqldump), OR
Exporting my data yourselves and sending it to me
My data volume is small (small personal/student project), so this should only take a few minutes.
Thank you in advance for your help,

Your MySQL data is still on its volume and has not been lost, but we're not able to grant temporary access to services on inactive accounts or run database exports on a user's behalf. The way to regain access is to subscribe to the Hobby plan ($5/month) from your workspace billing page, which will bring your services back online so you can connect and run your export yourself. A bank-issued credit or debit card is required for this. Prepaid and virtual cards are not supported on self-serve plans, and there is no alternative payment method available.

Hello,
Thank you for your response. The issue is that even my regular bank debit card (Afriland First Bank, not a reloadable prepaid card) is being rejected with the same message: "Prepaid cards can't be used for subscriptions."
It seems that cards issued by Cameroonian banks are being classified as "prepaid" in your payment system, even when they are genuine debit cards linked to a bank account.
Is there any alternative payment method available for users in my situation (PayPal, bank transfer, or other)? Or would it be possible to make an exception to temporarily reactivate my account so I can export my data?
I remain available for any additional information.

Your MySQL data is still intact on its volume (~152 MB), so nothing has been lost. The "prepaid" classification comes from our payment processor (Stripe), which makes that determination based on the card's metadata from the issuing bank, and it is not something we can override on our side. There are no alternative payment methods on self-serve plans: PayPal, bank transfer, and similar options are not available. Subscribing to a paid plan with a card Stripe accepts as non-prepaid remains the only way to bring your services back online and export your data, and we are not able to grant temporary access or perform exports on your behalf.
